Upland Bird Hunting Ambulatory Handicap Program. Inc.

Our objectives are to enable authentic experiences in quality upland game bird hunting and events while maintaining safety, security and maximum comfort for participants. This includes full assisted access to roads, trails and fields with specific hunting areas and event sites.
We will provide quick and easy adaptations of personal mobility equipment for use by any qualified applicants. Use of manually powered wheelchair dollies is necessary because of the difficulty of safely choosing routes and negotiating uneven terrain at hunting and event sites.
Sam Konnie Memorial Upland Bird Hunting Program, Inc. is a registered 501C3 Non-Profit Organization.
This project will benefit the community by providing opportunities that are not currently available for ambulatory handicapped persons who want to participate in authentic hunting experiences and skill events.
Wheelchair events and events for semi-ambulatory individuals will be staged separately. None of the events will be open to the public nor will they be staged for viewing and /or publicity.
This project qualifies in the "charitable" category because there will be no fee for qualified applicants for the equipment nor for the participation in events sponsored by this program.
